Tim Dolphin

Tim Dolphin has been involved with Printmaking since 1967 when he studied on the first full time Printmaking course at Bradford College of Art. He went onto do Post Graduate studies in Rome and Wimbledon Art Schools.

Tim taught Fine Art at Manchester Metropolitan University from 1974 to 2008. He became Chief Examiner for Print and Photography A Level at the JMB in 1978. Tim became head of Printmaking in 2000 and retired in 2008.

Tim is a great believer in the work that neo: and Hot bed press are doing to maintain the subject of printmaking and give the opportunity to young artists to become practitioners now that the subject is being abandoned by the Universities.

He is a practising artist and has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally.
