thank you for all your comments. Glad you’re finding the blog a boost to the site. I am a big Rilke fan, hard not to be in you’re a poet, and I totally understand what you’re saying. But for me what Rilke descrbes there is the point of blockage, when I have the idea no word(s) can bring out. I have never before considered that such a moment could be such a gift to anyone who is creating through a different medium.

We often do not realise we need something until it appears and then all sorts of possibilities occur. Scott came to my solo show at Corporation Street and we talked for a long time about the titles artists give to pieces of their work and how words can often be the starting point.
Scott’s introduction to the current ‘Ravenous’ show is superb and I want Scott to preface, and be in on the curating of my next show in May 2011. Is that hubris/ I don’t know…..
