Neoartists Fine Art Exhibitions
|
Established as a community interest company in September 2008, we are a not-for-profit organisation based in Bolton whose aim is to support emerging artists to develop their practices in the local community. We do this by providing a supportive membership network, affordable studio spaces, and exhibition opportunities. We have over 60 members with a wide range of skills including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, and sculpture. Our Membership is mainly open to arts graduates and students working towards an arts degree, but we also consider applications from other artists who are committed to developing a career as a contemporary artist in the local community. Our studios are based in Corporation Chambers in Bolton town centre and can accommodate up to 25 visual artists. We organise an ongoing exhibition programme in our temporary gallery space in Bolton Market Place, donated by Agora Shopping Centres Ltd. These exhibitions are open to all members of the public and are fully accessible. If you would like details of future exhibitions, please join our Mailing List and we will keep you informed of future events. We also organise roving exhibitions in restaurants, offices, and other establishments who require artwork for display on their premises. We have temporary project space available in Merchant's Place, River Street, donated by Charles Topham Investments A number of our members have teaching qualifications and this, together with the diversity of artistic skills within our membership, offers the potential for a variety of community based workshops. Our long term goal is to establish a contemporary arts centre in Bolton, with artists' studios, gallery, and community workshops all under one roof. If
